Chocolate Extract – All Natural Water Soluble FlavoringMade from Water, Alcohol, Chocolate Concentrate & Vanilla ExtractDark Brown, Water Soluble Liquid FlavoringAdds Rich Fudgy Taste, Aroma, and Color to Baked Goods, Beverages, SaucesNon-GMO, Gluten Free, Kosher, Vegan, PG Free
OliveNation chocolate extract is made from alcohol, water, vanilla extract, and chocolate concentrate. This water soluble flavoring will add and/or boost deep fudgy taste, aroma, and rich brown color in cakes, cookies, cupcakes, macarons, brownies, and creamy desserts. The simple, all natural ingredients make this chocolate extract for baking and beverages ideal for clean label commercial and retail bakery applications. Use in cocoa-based recipes, as a replacement for vanilla flavoring, or as a complement to add depth to complex flavor profiles. Add it to chocolate-flavored cookies, cakes, cupcakes, cheesecake, cream pies, pudding, and other fillings and frostings, or use as a complement to other taste profiles like vanilla, peanut butter, caramel, maple, and berries. Commercial bakery and food or beverage manufacturers love this liquid extract for creating clean label, PG free recipes that are ideal for specialty or health-conscious diets. Because this PG-free chocolate extract contains alcohol, we recommend using only a small amount when flavoring low-heat and no-bake recipes such as frosting, ice cream, smoothies, milkshakes, and other beverages.
Our water soluble chocolate extract is made using chocolate concentrate that gives it a deep brown color as well as complex, bittersweet chocolate flavor and aroma. Please note that it may darken white or pale-colored batters, frostings, fillings, or other dishes.

This extract has been a mainstay for us for a long while but it seems like they keep adding more and more vanilla into it. Our customers are tasting the vanilla right off the bat, which is not what we are looking for. We have had to start making our own extract from cacao nibs and use 2:1 with this to extend it and reduce the vanilla.

I haven’t used these yet but man! They smell wonderful! I’m planning on dosing pints of stout with them!

We make tons of macarons at my bakery and I absolutely LOVE Olive Nation for giving me high quality natural extracts and flavorings for them. I use SO many of them and one of the ones I use the most is the chocolate. It is fragrant, flavorful, consistent, and made with real chocolate that you can actually see as you get to the bottom of the bottle (which I have done MANY times over). I LOVE Olive Nation. They are a small company with consistency and integrity that is difficult to find these days. I recommend them to any and all bakers out there!
