How to use Vanilla Flavor Oil
For most baking applications, replace 1 teaspoon of alcohol-based extract with 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of Vanilla Flavor Oil.
For chocolate-making, use 2.5 to 5 teaspoons of Vanilla Flavor Oil per 10 pounds of chocolate.
For making hard candy, use 1 ounce per 10 pounds.
For ice cream, yogurt, and other frozen dairy applications, use 1/4 ounce per gallon of mix.
For beverages applications, use 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon per 16 ounces of liquid, or 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon per liter.
Please Note: In some cases, this concentrated oil-based flavoring may cause chocolate to thicken. You can counteract it by adding 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of cocoa butter per pound of chocolate to smooth the batter.

I was so disappointed with this product. It is completely flavorless, just plain oil. It does not even smell like vanilla at all. I used 3TBSP in a 6 cup batch of buttercream – it had absolutely no flavor at all. Complete waste of money!

This taste like plain oil… no vanilla flavor at all. I added 3 Tbsp to a 6 cup batch of buttercream and it did not even have a hint vanilla flavor. I tried it in creme brule thinking maybe heat would bring out flavor and it still tasted like nothing. Very disappointing, especially for the expensive price.

I added this along with some other vanilla flavorings so I didn’t realize it had no taste until reading the reviews. Has just a slight hint of something in a lot of oil.
